I grew up in a farming community with a town of 2200 people in south central Minnesota. My family owned and operated a livestock market and auction business. We were also in the purebred cattle business for 30 years and back grounded some cattle. I moved to Ava in 2002. My wife and I own the Rusty Spur Ranch and calve a few cows on occasion. When not working we enjoy trail riding in the National Forest and other areas. I grew up in a family of 10 and am no stranger to hard work. My parents taught me from a young age you never get anything for nothing and to treat people the way you want to be treated. I have been a real estate agent for the past 14 years specializing in farms, ranches, horse properties and recreational properties.
